  1. Go to Media Library folder and delete all folders.

  2. Uninstall Video Station (and make sure you check the box to delete the database!)

  3. Use Putty to login (username: root)

  4. Change directory by using the following command: cd /var/spool

  5. Remove synology indexing queue with the following command: rm syno_indexing_queue*

  6. Kill all processes related to synology indexing: killall synoindexd

  7. Same as above for more processes: killall synoindexscand

  8. Install Video Station.

  9. Add Movie folders to Video Station

  10. Reboot NAS
